Ken, stop it; you're freaking me out!
It's a figment of your imagination. Your mind is very powerful and subconsciously you can talk yourself into seeing and hearing stuff that doesn't exist! It mainly happens when a person is over-tired and in need of much rest. Even though you may feel that you are not tired, you are and the mind will play tricks. If you find this happening at night, simply heat up a small cup of milk and drink it. This will give your body and mind a calming effect that dates back to when you were an infant.
