Default Nice Oddballs

I really like the Yogi and Perry odd-ball cards. I love the regional/odd-ball issued cards. Picked this up.

That Clemente (along with his In Action card of the same year) is one my favorite cards of all time. Nice!!!

Default Mantles

Came home to a box full of Mantles today. Thanks to Chris (pawpaw) for selling me the first two. I've been looking for the Exhibit Portrait for almost two years now, and it feels great to check that off my list.

Matt, I will try not to drool on your slab. I make no promises, though. Wow!

Thanks Bill, I appreciate it.

Are you going to try to complete the Musial basic set?
I finished it and retired it, at 8.10 GPA. I still have most of the cards ( in my link below)but I didnt want to get caught up in the registry game anymore, so I retired my sets, and just collect now.

Excellent card and great centering. I bought the Mathews card a couple years back (PSA 5 dead centered), and much like you I paid a healthy premium over book because it was centered, and I haven't regretted it.

I think this card is THE SLEEPER of the entire '52 set: single print, high number, the only recognized rookie card of an all time great player, the last card in the set and prone to all the inherent condition problems, AND one of the most difficult cards in the whole set in terms of centering. Given all those variables, I think it is undervalued.
