You can see a crease in the red by his right shoulder.

Id have bought this card in a heartbeat for $9k...$11k is a steal considering the last sgc 4 went for $12,600 and a sgc 3 went for 10k both in 2013 via ebay.
Im guessing this card was glued/attatched to an album and left there for 98 years leaving us the beauty of an example that we have. CJs color is very fickle and yes the brightness stands out, but cards that were never in boxes and stored away have maintained these qualities. With that said, bleach and a razor have similar effects on CJs, and soaking definitely brings out color. You can see the one area very clearly near the 'p' in "cou-pon" and the seller alludes to another area, possibly opposites of this as there is small ink loss in the J of Joe. I wonder if anything shows under a black light on the back. Nice card, buyer got a great deal probably b/c 2 buyers were removed from the mix so recently. Fairly centered, beautiful image and as for the tilt...if you collect CJs you better get used to them as most are tilted...very nice card. |

I have always believed who submits the card can be a 2 number swing with the grading companies. That might account for the four.
