The W600 Street Clothes Mathewson is several times tougher than the uniform cabinet and was not issued for as long, as it was the earlier version. Total pop report for SGC and PSA is 4. One would assume several others exist in raw collections as well, however none that I am aware of(which does not mean much
. The E107 Mathewson has an SGC pop of 4 and apparently none in PSA. I am aware of at least 3 more raw ones, with others undoubtedly existing as well. For all practical purposes the pop's are probably about the same. As to popularity the card clearly is more desirable in the eyes of the bidders, none of which are probably E107 set collectors as there are less than a handful of those and unless they are upgrading, do not need the Mathewson card. There are probably well healed collectors/investors that would find this a blue chip item to add. Ditto with the W600 Street Clothes Matty, very few, if any "set collectors" yet many folks who would like to add it to their holdings. |
