Default Let's talk E90-1....toughest Candy card set ?

WOW ! ...... 7 years since I initiated this E90 thread....I guess time really travels fast when you're having fun

I have few regrets in this hobby; but, selling my complete E90-1 set back in the late 1990's at the Ft Washington show is one. The Joe Jax in this set was either
Ex (or VgEx)......I say Ex, but most likely a TPG would grade it a "4".

Anyhow, here are some of my favorites from my current 2nd set (of which I have no expectations of completing).

Thanks Chuck

Are you putting together this set......and, if so, how far into it are you ?

I ask, since there doesn't appear to be the intense interest in the E90-1
set currently as there existed 7 years ago when this thread was posted.

Best regards,

TED Z

Default Bump

Wanted to do an annual bump on a great, informative thread that began in 2006 in discussing the E90-1 set. I started the set a few months ago, and I am at about half way to completing the "Caramel Monster". Here are some of my recent purchases (perhaps shown elsewhere). I was hoping that some of the "caramel old timers" could chirp in on any recent revelations on the toughness of certain players such as Mitchell, Graham, Walsh, Wagner Throwing, Speaker, Duffy, etc. Thanks!

I am not collecting the e90-1 set, but did need the Lobert for my back run. I was lucky enough to be able to trade for it with another member.

Nice pick up Andy! I picked up my Lobert (not nearly as nice) about the same time as you did.
