If its really a 1941 signature that means the photo would have to be at least that old and an original pre-1941 photo of Paige is worth MUCH more than the signature anyways (but the signature is good). I would love to see the whole piece! There are only 5-10 pre-WW2 Paige images known and probably a thousand signed photos.

Rhys - it was in the last SCP auction. It was a very nice photo, and I think the piece went for $500 + juice.

I had my bids tied up in a bunch of cards that I eventually lost most of

But I did end up with the 1913 Wagner photo.

I got the catalog but only browsed it so I missed it entirely. Sounds like someone got a good deal.
