I may have over paid for this, but I have no buyers remorse nor do I care. As far as I know, it's the only signed Gehrig DeLong in existence, and I've only seen one of DeLong signed.
Would much rather have this than a signed '33 Goudey. Signed cards of him were tough to get, a very short window.

The top two cards in this picture.
They were in a lot that a local shop bought, and I'd just finished reading the book of lists which had a list of the 10 rarest baseball cards. (How wrong that list was!) I had to call mom and convince her to bring me the money. Not a long trip, but still a tough call. Before I say how much, T206s were about 1.50 each, and Goudeys in similar condition were usually .25 These were $3 each. Totally blew an entire months allowance. Steve B |

Very nice E222 Hooker cards Val and Jim.I am so intrigued by that set every card is a winner in my book.They are just priceless.I hope to pick up a Richmond Colt example one day.Virginia League!
