What you saw was dust on the scanner bed, nothing on the card. Here are new scans after I cleaned my scanner. Note also how white the back of the card is. A lot of '66 Topps that you see have yellow backs from age.

Always glad to see Mantles....I been busy tackling them. Mine is a PSA 4 that i have.
