When the Pirates moved to Forbes Field in 1909, players would stay at the Schenley Hotel, now the William Pitt Union on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh.

Default Cincinnati Reds away hotels 1938

According to the Cincinnati Reds Player Roster and Spring Training schedule in 1938, here are the hotels that they stayed at while on the road:

Philadelphia (N)- Bellevue Stratford Hotel
New York- Giants and Dodgers (N)- Governor Clinton Hotel
Boston (N)- Touraine Hotel
Pittsburgh (N)- Schenley Hotel
St. Louis (N)- Coronado Hotel
Chicago (N)- Belmont Hotel
