How is this one the highest graded when the Gretzky/McNall card was a PSA 8 with no qualifiers?

It's the highest non-altered Wagner. The Gretzky card is trimmed.

With the Gretzky Wagner being trimmed (Admitted by Mastro in his legal papers) also there is a PSA 5 NQ, but again I don't care about Qualifiers that are production caused (I know I am in the minority).

Perhaps they should have had GAI grade the card.

That was sarcasm btw.

I don't think GAI existed at the time.

I think it will break $3 million, it is, arguably, the top baseball card in existence. the only other two cards for which an argument can be made are the PSA 8 Wagner, which we all know the history of, and the other PSA 5 Wagner. There will be 2-5 big buyers fighting for it, likely buyers who do not collect cards, but just the very top of baseball memorabilia.

because there isnt any graded that fall between a 5 and an 8 and there is only the one 8 (disputed) and two 5's, so it is among the top 3 with a grade assigned to it.
