The more I look at it, the more I'm sure it is Stuart, with the way the vertical creases run on his face.

Default Because I'm bored

Maybe, just maybe (per retrosheet):

August 29, 1964:

Yankees beat Red Sox 10-2. Yanks score 4 in first and no more until 6th--Sox blanked until 7th (fits with scoreboard).

Dick Stuart leads off top of 5th with double to left, described as deep 3B. This could have been a bloop double with a play at 2B. Second baseman for the Yanks that day--Pedro Gonzalez.

I doubt if the Yankee infielder is Lopez. He played only one game at infield in both 1963 and 1964, the years Stuart was with Boston. I will go with Pedro Gonzalez.

Okay, definitely going with Stuart on that one, with a "strong possibility" to Pedro Gonzalez. Special thanks to nolemmings and his boredom for a very plausible scenario to match the image. Thanks guys!

Next up is this gentleman in almost-profile. He's in a Cubs uniform, no earlier than 1929, possibly as late as 1931. This one is from a photograph taken by George Burke which has his player/team ID coding, but not the player's name. I've got his player codes from a great many photos, and many more yet to record on the spreadsheet, but don't have a match to this one. So all that is to say I may be able to confirm or deny some guesses if I know the player code for your guess to be something else (if none of that last bit makes sense, just tell me who you think it looks like, and we'll go from there).

Taking one last look at it before posting, it looks like Rogers Hornsby to me, but would like to at least second that before I go with it (Hornsby, of course, is one that I don't have the player code for. If anyone has a Burke photo of Hornsby and can confirm the typed code on the back, that would be helpful as well).

Add: Scratch Hornsby from the list. I found his player code (361) on several negatives offered by Legendary, consistent over several years / teams. Code on this one is N3 (team code = National League Cubs) 584 (player code).

Another photo of Petty for comparison (this one by Conlon):
