Nice card, Jake. Weren't those previously listed as a 1909 issue?

This isn't a card and maybe not so valuable, but I was happy to pick it up. Page from a Providence newspaper featuring an amazing pitching duel. Not sure why the famous (infamous) Lefty Williams is called "Cy". The game was played in less than three hours! Johnson had a big hit in the 18th to contribute to the lone run. At the bottom of the page is a small article about how the White Sox are missing Joe Jackson's bat. WWI was ongoing and Jackson was working in a shipyard to avoid the draft. http://www.baseball-reference.com/bo...91805150.shtml

A beauty of a '2' and a much needed upgrade for the set. Thanks Doug on B/S/T.

Yes, but with the recent discovery of the Phili team it was easy to figure out they are now 1913.

Thanks Jeff, it has a small bit of paper loss on the reverse which made it affordable for me. I will take that anyday....

One BST pick-up (thanks to Steve P.) and one football card from the 'bay, purchased because on this card Donovan bears a disconcertingly strong resemblance to my late grandfather

Thanks, yes I am working on the HRKs and T210s right now since I hit the wall on the E94 master set and D311 set.
