Are the Kansas City Red Sox & Kansas City Blues the same team? Stengel played for the Blues in 1910 but only 4 games, it would be very unusual for him to appear on a team photo having played in that few games........

No, they are two different teams. He played for the KC Red Sox, not the Blues.

There are other photos of Stengel when he played with the KC Red Sox, also with Marysville (including a baseball card), but I haven't seen this actual image before. Scouring the internet, can't find it, but I'm sure it's out there somewhere.
