According to the site they are still charging from 2.2% to 2.9% plus 30 cents per transaction for domestic. I confirmed that I am paying 2.2% plus 30 cents given the volume I do.

I predict Amazon jumps in the fray of sports collectibles/cards, perhaps even in the form of auctions.

It's 2.9% + 30 cents for most of the dealers on ebay. I don't know how those 99 cent dealers survive. Sell at .99 and paypal takes 33 cents or 33%, plus ebay fees of 9%. And some sell with Free Shipping ! Cost of envelopes , time , holders, tape etc ?????????

I have read numerous times that Amazon is more expensive than eBay in terms of fees. I cannot site the sources, it is just something that stuck with me.

Looks like the OP and I were clicking the Personal fee rates, not the Business rates. Nothing to see here.

It's true. I've tried my hand with a few items there. The listing fees are free, but if you actually sell something, they make Ebay look downright charitable.

Amazon tried recruiting sports collectibles dealers over there to set up webstores with them, about a year ago or so. I don't know how successful it was. They gave me a call, but I passed on it.

I just couldn't swallow the high store fees, on top of the final value fees, on top of the fact, anybody else could come along a piggyback on top of your descriptions and photos, if they had the same thing you did.

Wow, not me. Everything comes out to over 3% and the lower the invoice, it creeps up to close to 4%.
