Even if it is photoshopped, this is a trade you are obviously going to do in person. If he doesn't have the card, he won't get yours.
I would encourage him to post a 5-10 second video with the card. |

1) If he owns the card then what is the story behind it?
2) Why he is willing to sell it for $75,000 when the last sale, to the Dr. in Philadelphia, was for $220,000? David |

Whenever you scan an SGC slab, there are certain glare marks around the edge of the holder from the scanner. If you blow up his pic and compare the Wagner he is holding to the Wagner in the original pics, the glare marks are identical.

Seems legit. It really is the little things in life that make me happy. I've got a two hour ride home right now and this thread should make it bearable.

I was hoping someone would post a picture of the "Topps" kid (kid on the topps wax cases I believe). holding up the card in a "wow" fashion and then superimpose the Wagner.

I am not even sure why I feel obligated to waste any more time on this, but I will. First off, I called you a f*cknugget in the other thread and for that I am sorry. That was rather childish of me ..... but not nearly as childish as the stunt you are trying to pull here.
If you didn't know before .... you now know that sports collectors are some of the most analytical people on Earth. The fact that you coyly played this off on the phone with Leon befuddles me. The fact that you regained your posting privileges but have not responded to this silly thread and the accusations made towards you befuddles me. The fact that you have no desire to make your story known befuddles me. "Your card" can be seen here, in the hands of the present owner.... feel free to fast forward to 4 minutes and 14 seconds into the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcrvKWV0mxQ Within 2 days after purchasing the "Nun Wagner" Dr. DePace was offered $60,000 more than he initially paid for it and his response was: “I said, ‘What’s the matter with you guys?’ ” DePace said. “It’s no longer just a baseball card; it’s become a religious relic, a St. Jude of memorabilia. I’m keeping it.” That info can be found here: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/01/sp...nted=all&_r=1& Furthermore, judging by this guys extensive collection, and his intention to open a non-profit museum, I am with belief that he didn't off the card on the side ..... money is no object to this wealthy man and as stated above, he isn't selling it. So, how about you either come clean and admit you are a really bad scammer ..... or come up with a better story than the one you gave us? Your words: here it is guys. been in the family for a long time, my grandfather picked it up when he was a kid from someone in georgia. We had it authenticated in 2008, he almost auctioned it off in 2010, however he was not satisfied with the price. I dont really like honus wagner, with this in mind Im willing to trade this for some other cards. Other cards Im interested in include 52 topps mantle 51 bowman mantle, 54 dan dee mantle, goudey babe ruth, cracker jack ty cobb, hank aaron rookie and other high end cards. I dont really know what to value this card at since it is so beat up, with that in mind if my trade is way to high let me know. Im also thanks andrew http://www.net54baseball.com/picture...ictureid=10079 http://www.net54baseball.com/picture...ictureid=10080 |

There is not one person who buys and sells tobacco cards...that does not or would not know the value of or look up the value of a Wagner prior to trying to sell it.
Not long ago he posted 10 t cards for sale. End of story. |

I actually met Andrew in person and traded with him a couple times in person. He has always been straight with me. I'm not sure if the Wagner thing was just a joke or whatever but the guy is a legit buyer and seller And to whoever posted the pic with him holding the Mona Lisa. AWESome. Funniest thing I've seen on this site yet

Hmmm! 3 bottles of lotion, a roll of paper towels, what appears to be some sort of gay porn-star on the tv, and the complete and total look of shame on his face.. I wonder what's going on there?

The card holder edges--top, bottom and side to side--are perfectly parallel to the top, bottom and sides of the picture he submitted.
PERFECTLY PARALLEL. A PERFECT RECTANGLE. I used the selection tool in photoshop (dotted line) to illustrate the point in this blow-up. So the Wagner is absolutely flat in reference to the photographer's vantage point. That occurring naturally is as close to impossible as you can get. I don't know the guy, so I lack a horse in this race, but he obviously held something (perhaps a graded card), took a picture and then superimposed a 'professional' scan of the Wagner in front of it.
