Leon- Is that Hinsdale the one in Massachusetts? If it is I'm amazed they even made a postcard. Hinsdale was and still is a small town even in an area of small towns. Population is only around 2000.

I used to live in the town next to it.

2000 population is a metropolis...I once had a postcard from Ballagh, Nebraska...a town that doesn't even exist anymore.

No positive Steve. The back has a very long message but the cancellation can't be read. It is addressed going to California...

I just love these types of postcards and wish I had some to share.

Not a postcard, but I just had to buy this photo at the flea market for a few bucks as it says so much (to me, anyway). From the chalk scoreboard, it looks like the score's all knotted at 3-3 going into the bottom of the 3rd.

That is a great photo/scene. Looks like he wanted to imitate Cobb or the Babe, but didn't understand the grip of the bat as a natural right-handed hitter.
