Posted this in the Negro League thread, but thought I'd put it in here as well - I just received this small autograph album today. Has all semi-pro Brooklyn Bushwick signatures from 1944, including a fella named Gene Walsh, who was actually Gene Hermanski using an alias. The girl who owned the album included a few newspaper clippings and was very detail oriented in her book, marking the position and uniform number of each of the Bushwicks. Very interesting to me because I'm a Bushwicks collector, but on a page in the middle of a bunch of unused sheets was this one of the 1944 New York Cubans! Players are:

I went to a local collectibles show yesterday and bought a box of about 275 mostly baseball autographs. Most were in the 1955-1970 range. These are some that caught my eye. Not a lot of value but I found them interesting. Also, at one time I was thinking of putting together an auto set of 1961 baseball but after seeing the 1958s, that interests me more.

And I took a flyer on this Babe Pinelli. He's a longshot, but he's one of a handful of umps who's been mentioned for the HOF. Sometimes you have to roll the dice...if he does get in this was a steal, but at worst I picked up a very cool 3x5 with a great inscription!
