Why is the consensus that it will be shut down?

Default Plank

The seller gave the card a pretty detailed write up in the auction description.

My guess $90K

My guess is that it will get pulled if it doesn't get to what he has in it.

A bit off topic, but why is the Plank worth so much? I've never heard of him.

I just received a bid cancelation... But now with new ebay rules, when you remove an auction the owners have to paid fee equal to the highest bid....fee for 70 000$ bid oufff

There are 2 theories one is that the plate was broken or damaged early in the production run. The other is that he was opposed to cards being placed in tobacco products as was Wagner. The truth is nobody is really sure about why this card is so scarce, but the first theory does not seem very likely as the card is known to have come in two different series therefore you would have to accept that both plates were broken or damaged early in the printing process. Anyone who has more knowledge of this please feel free to enlighten.
