The white dot in the left hand corner makes it look fake to me. Along with the grainy picture and fake wear.

It's a cheap fake, but the seller insists that it is real.
Based on his response to my question, it's probably safe to bid as high as you would like. "This is a original 1887 card, this is not a copy. - texasterry44"
