Thanks again for all of the help. I am actually glad it was not easy to identify as I figured I had missed some obvious set. Are Cardinal team issues catalogued anywhere? I am curious as to which year this is.
Based on the jersey identification by JerseyGary it might appear that both are Cardinal team issues from different years. I also see that the Medwick signature appears to be thicker than the Dean. RC, I too see almost the exact same photo on the Gold Medal Flour card of Dean. Does anyone have any similarly sized Cardinal team issue photos to post? I would really like to see a Dizzy Dean but will enjoy seeing any. Thank you again, Alan |
