I am not a card collector, but I have owned many great and rare signatures from the Civil War and the Olympics over the years. While I have enjoyed owning all of the items I rarely regretted selling them. I had the pleasure of owning them and that was wonderful. I also enjoyed the selling as it helped and still helps make life easier along the way. Being an optimist I like to believe that if I really wanted one of them again I would be able to find them. Such is the same with these cards. Good fortune will smile on you and you will be able to acquire copies of these cards again.
I use an expression that I am not sure who to attribute it to, but it goes: 'Things exist whether you own them or not.' Best of luck no matter what you decide. Cheers, Michael
