Way too much thinking going on here. Have a few beers and play EENIE, MEENIE, MINY, MOE!

I'd keep the Ewing in this situation. As someone else pointed out, I think it would be easier to replace the other two and possibly at upgraded levels in the future.
Just my 2 cents... .

Personally, I'd keep the Ewing. But in the end it's going to be your call. I kind of like Leon's thinking: if they hold equal sentimental value, sell the one that you'll get the best return on. Just be sure that you'll be able to sleep nights, after the deed is done.

You could just sell me the Cobb right now and we can close the case on this mystery

The one that gets you to where you need to be. YOU step up and decide.

I am not a card collector, but I have owned many great and rare signatures from the Civil War and the Olympics over the years. While I have enjoyed owning all of the items I rarely regretted selling them. I had the pleasure of owning them and that was wonderful. I also enjoyed the selling as it helped and still helps make life easier along the way. Being an optimist I like to believe that if I really wanted one of them again I would be able to find them. Such is the same with these cards. Good fortune will smile on you and you will be able to acquire copies of these cards again.
I use an expression that I am not sure who to attribute it to, but it goes: 'Things exist whether you own them or not.' Best of luck no matter what you decide. Cheers, Michael |
