Perhaps in cases like this there was a bulk deal of, for example, 10% off 20 cards, the collector had only 17 worth grading but added three more to get the deal.
The first time I saw a 1996 Topps Dan Marino base card graded, I thought that could be the only reason to send in that card. Last edited by drc; 01-14-2013 at 05:06 PM.

I have the same exact card. Maybe I need to grade mine so I can sell it as only 1 of 2 graded. Honesty though, the only reason for grading a reprint would be to just fill in the empty space in a rare collection. Kinda like the graded reprints of the T206 Wagners. I can't see any other reason for it unless it was a type of promotion giveaway from the grading service just to show their holders.

um ok...so there is no "reprint" on the card, but the grade flip says reprint. I dont get it lolol
