Wow has it been 55 years ago. Played for Lawrence, Mass. City Champs as a 12 year old. Batted .238 with 2 doubles 6 singles. Definately not a power hitter but the most fun I ever had on a baseball team. Note the all wool uniform, sure made for some hot nights in late july. Wore #14 for the Cubs and that was why Ernie Banks was my favorite player back then. Oh the good ol days... Jim

Good thread, here is me and Chris Chambliss in Wichita, KS on August 21, 1970.
(Chambliss is on the left) He autographed it for me 20 years later.
