Good luck with that one, Mike. I had been searching for one of those for almost 10 years before landing a 1903 W601 Chicago Cubs premium this year. That's probably as close as I am going to get so I am happy with that one.

There are 465 different players on the Sporting Life checklist of 687 cabinet cards.
Getting into and navigating the SGC W600 pop list is a nightmare from the start. In the printout only half of each of their pages of names is printed out. The second half of their page prints only the SGC heading leaving the rest of the sheet blank. In order to get the missing names that should have been printed on the blank space I had to copy and paste them into separate document. Also the list of player names is in alphabetical order using their first names! It doesn't say much for their choice of a webmaster. On the other hand, the PSA checklist is simple and instinctive, alphabetical by last name and prints out perfectly. W600 graded by SGC 194 - PSA 157. Evers is one of the toughest of the HOFers. |

I have the intention of scanning all of my W600's this winter and putting them on one of the online free hosting sites. Any suggestions as to which one is best or easiest to use?

Scott:
Wasn't the Evers first available in 1903, making it one of the earlier HOF'ers issued? |

Phil,
Not sure without looking, I know it can be found with the type 3 mount which predates this type 4. Scott |

Scott, I believe you can post all of your W600 scans right here on Net 54. If you click on "community" on the blue task bar, you'll see where others have posted their collections. Also, Leon sent out an email to all of us advertising a new website, whitewhalecards.com, where people are encouraged to post their collections.

Everyone is always invited to use the free web space, on the board, to host scans. Our site is quite reliable and will host around 400 or so pics per user, I believe. I hope everyone takes a second to see the many, many folders of cards from our members that are already there (and have been for quite some time). Just click the word "Community" in the dark blue line across the page, while logged in, and you will see a pull down menu. The first option is Pictures & Albums. I have close to a hundred scans there. It's extremely easy to use.

I would second the recommendation for Imageevent. Very easy to use, clean design and for $2 a month you can't go wrong.
