Grading Game!

Only a 2 on the Evers? The card looks great in person. I feel like it will be a 3+. The scan makes it look like it has a crease, but it has none. By the way, I forgot to include the Beaumont card. I'll add it to the original post.

I thought 2.5 on Evers because it does have a nice appearance, but I feel the long crease running from his neck out to the left border plus advanced corner wear likely bring it below a 3...could be wrong though!

I knew that scan would mess it up. The card does not have any creases, but I guess the holder that it was in caused it to look like there was one. Thank you though

Wow - whatever is on that holder sure makes it look like the card has a crease! I guess that is why this game is so hard to play (and this also shows the value of TPG, because even buying a card with a big scan can be tricky).

If that Evers has no creases/wrinkles at all, I could see it pulling a 3.

Maybe best to scan them without scratched up top loaders then. Just a thought.

Nice cards none the less no matter what # they put on the flip. Good luck with them!!

Tony, probably an intelligent idea to do. I transferred them to Card Savers last night, a much wiser decision. Thanks for the kind words once again
