It was also a scrap tobacco and not a rolled product so you are going to find very few without a few flecks of baccy on them.

Just a quick note regarding this info. Both Demmitt and O'Hara moved to St. Louis in late 1909. This was before any of the print group 2 (350 Only) subjects went into production. So all of their New York cards were printed after they were already playing in St. Louis. I don't want to derail Rob's post so if anyone would like to explore this further maybe we can start a separate thread.
