I read in the article that there is a back variation for this card. Does anyone know the difference between the variation and the standard card?

Here are the two different backs. I do not think that there is a premium on one or the other, but the back that says "Read The Balitimore News" seem to be less plentiful.

Actually, this was first reported a couple of weeks ago and the reason is explained here. Unfortunate situation.

$325K for a "1" - the BN Ruth is basically the same price to the T206 Wagner in a similar grade.

Also, Rob Lifson said it best - once this card sells, it will probably be a very long time before another example is offered for sale. All other examples are buried in advanced collections.

Yep wagner and BN ruth look like to have same value in same grade !
