I've seen that picture before.I can't remember where.I have a bunch of Brooklyn Dodger books.I will check them out.I'm thinking that it's from the
mid to late '40's,but I could be wrong. If I come up with anything I'll let you know.

Reese , Pitler & Dixie Howell are correct. there is no Furillio in this pic. The one with the wavey hair might be Erv Palica. Let me know your thoughts.

Default Mr. Lee

many thanks for the corroboration of three players and the offer of a new one,
Erv Palica. From my perusal of photographs and cards, I think Palica is correct. His time period surely matches Reese, as well.
Now, how about the 3 left standing? any ideas?
all the best,
barry

Barry:

The three left standing have got me stumped, I tried my best amatuer CSI skills on matching noses & eyes , but I can not come up with a match. I would be very interested to know who they are.

Best regards,

Len

I'm in the same boat with you on this one.
Let's keep investigating!
Perhaps there's a photography or brooklyn dodger expert on this board who still hasn't chimed in.
all the best,
barry

The first guy standing on the left looks like Dolph Camilli

many thanks for the input.
i quickly took a look at his period with the dodgers and compared with reese and they do overlap from 40-43. Camilli is 11 years older than reese, though.
I'm going to take a look at photos of camilli , as I don't know much about
him.
I'm crossing my fingers on this one!
all the best,
barry
