Nice Steve!

Have you scrapped the custom album idea? I remember you talking about it and I thought it was a great idea.

Great display! I love how you were able to keep the cards in the holders. Did you have this professionally done or do it yourself? It looks amazing.

Also, curious about what type of glass you used and whether it protects them from the sunlight (or whether you keep them out of the light)? My fiance has wanted to frame my cards for me for some time, but couldn't think of a nice way to do it and was always afraid of them fading in the sun. This is such a cool piece.

Thanks for all the thanks...its weird to actually have it now. I need to take out all the cases and clean them as those fingerprints are definitely visible.

Chuck - I have the exact same think several times...I think it would Cracker Jack on the top and ball players on the bottom and definitely in the CJ font. It would match the album as well.

Matthew - I am going ahead with my album as well. It will be brown in color with CJ Ball players stamper black on the front in a 3-ring binder of course. I had a 1915 album in my sights, but funds can make decisions for us and I'm still paying for cards. I will have the book open on a floating shelf...kinda like an alter?

Bastdj - That was professionally done BUT I used multiple coupons and my powers of persuasion with the GM. The glass is the best I could get (Cant remember what its called but it protects, reflects, buffs shampoos and polishes). The GM of the store collects cards, nothing like CJs, and I let him sit in office and play with my cards for about 20 minutes while I pitched the "advertisement" ploy. Everyone I ever show it to will ask who did it, and for that I deserve some free perks and got him to throw in a back matte, a piece of glass and a couple other minor things. Its freaking huge measuring 38" by 27" outside borders.

Also, it can never be crowded on the wall! Next thing will probably be a t200 set some time down the road...still need 11!
