Nice post.
Only 15 years old and you have a grasp on the "old" stuff.GREAT! When I was 17 in 1978 I went to my first card show to start Playballs. (All 3 years. ) I was torn between buying 1978 Topps at 1 cent per card, or picking up 1939 cards at 25 cents per card . I finally completed my Playballs about 12 years later. I never looked to buy new stuff again. Finished the Playballs, 1934 Goudey, and 15 cards away fron Diamond Stars. Sure I still have my Topps from 1977 back to 1972. And 1961, 1955. Best of luck to you. Great post. Tom |
