Wow, Paul Ratliff is right, but he is not the one I'm thinking of. There is another player....same years too, oddly enough, 1963 and 1970.

Default BB card Trivia

OK, I will break out my tired old baseball card quiz question.... For those who have heard it before..wait a few days to give others time to "struggle"

I know of three players who appeared on Topps baseball cards and their last name was the name of the team they were playing for at the time.

For ex - 1964 Topps Fred Pirate....shown on the card playing for the Pitt Pirates

Jose Cardenal - 70/71 Topps St Louis Cardinals

Johnny Podres - 69 Topps San Diego Padres

Is that what you are looking for? I couldn't figure out a 3rd

Ha, that's kind of funny, inasmuch as Podres is a Lithuanian name.

I've got the other guy... 1960 Topps Dave Philley wearing a Phillies uniform.
