Bond, James
Not baseball memorabilia, but when growing up my family had a real cool mid- sixties James Bond Road Race set, complete in the box that had a color photo of Sean Connery as J.B. When the family moved out of the house that I grew up in we donated it to Goodwill. And of course kicked ourselves since then...so valuable things can end up in thrift stores.
I'm ok with outing this auction--the money is going to a good cause. Brian

Years ago I bought some stuff from a guy who dealt memorabilia out of his house. I think I bought a set of Nedicks baseball cups and probably some other inexpensive stuff.
He also dealt in toys and had 5 cases of those race sets brand new  He'd bought them from a toy distributor who'd overstocked them when they were new.Steve B Quote:
