There are a bunch of spring 1914 Chi FL photos on the Chicago Daily News site (including the one of Wickland, below left). For 9 of them we can see the belt clearly. Only the left-handed Wickland has a style matching the belt worn by the player depicted in Rhett's item. I think it is very likely Wickland. The facial features seem consistent, but given the angle and the relatively few examples I have, I can't say absolutely for sure. If anyone wants to order a hi-res of the Wickland photo from Chicago History Museum, I probably could give a better answer.
