Thought I'd bump this thread since the auction didn't have any bids yet. This is a terrific group of 20 w517 MINIs that would give someone a great start on collecting a scarce and attractive set from the 30s. This lot is loaded with HOFers as well as the scarcer players in the set (ie...Miller, Jackson, etc..). Lots of rare color variations as well for many of the players.
I'm shocked this lot doesn't have a bid yet. I've never seen a group of these this size available anywhere. Only one was comparable which was auctioned off in May, 2011 - http://www.legendaryauctions.com/Lot...ntoryid=115783 That group of 14 went for nearly $5,500 by the time it was all said and done. The Goodwin Auction going on now actually has many of the exact cards that were in that previous auction as well. Not sure how they're struggling to meet the minimum bid this time around.
