"A walks as good as a hit" .....Yost listened
Inspired the creation and appreciation of the On Base Percentage in the fifties. Truly a unique player of that era. Led the league in OBP with a batting average of .260 in 1960. He was even walking when he signed this autograph for me.

Thats sad news.I TTM'd him last year.He wrote me a short note thanking me
for being a fan and said Tiger Stadium was his favorite park to play in.
