Bruce Smith Autograph on a 55 Topps All Amer Card auto real or not? help!!

I'm educated enough on auto's, but Bruce Smith is a toughie . Any help on opinion would be appreciated.

EXACTLY what I was thinking. I have owned some Smith autos and actively look for them and the first thing that caught my eye was the slant. He has a nice slant to his signature in every one I have ever seen and this one is very upright. I also dont really like the "r" and how it appears to loop down on the shelf.

Numerous examples of his signature can be found on Lelands site. Look in the December 2005 auction. This was the auction where Smith's family sold many of their items including a number of signed photos.
