Not HOFers, but a couple of my favorites.
The Hank Gowdy bat -- sorry for the crummy pic -- is really cool, because instead of wrapping the handle with tape, it's actually a wire! Does anyone have any players' bats with this? (The others are Stan Hack and John Kruk.) The Ernie Koy is hickory, meaning it's heavy as heck. I like how he carved his name into the blank barrel. It's sidewritten for him. (The others are Piggy French and Jack Fournier blank/sidewritten.) Ken |
