I've never seen one if he did, though I know for sure that George Brace, his "understudy" if you will, took a number of nice photos of Campy (see one example below). Burke had a heart attack in 1948 (though I'm not sure when in 1948) that ended his career and would have limited his opportunity to capture Campanella on film in his rookie year.
Boy Lance,
That Brace Campy is awesome. What a cool image!

Just found this today. I wrote to pitcher Si johnson and he sent me back some George Brace photos of himself that were most likely Burke photos. Thought Id share this.

Default Verse Two

Sean,

The same experience with Si introduced me to Brace Photo and over the years I ordered hundreds and hundreds of PCs that I used for ttm. They were of varying quality based upon whether it was a Burke or Brace negative being used. Some even were poor quality photos of photos. I just pulled my file and reviewed all of my receipts; the orders started in Feb. of 1996 and continued until May of 2000.

Here is the front page of my old pricelist:

Default Brace PCs

I did pick up some really good, unique color poses from Brace over the years.
