Default Nice pickup

Leon,

That's a really nice Cobb S74. It's also a color I don't recall ever seeing!

Enjoy,

Patrick

Thanks Patrick. I think most of us that are truly addicted have probably run into this before. The guy with his hand out, giving you another hit off the proverbial crack pipe. Man, I hate paying someone's asking price but the guy wasn't budging. I justified it as I don't have another color S74 that is a regular silk (I have two color ones that are miscuts) but I sure hated paying that sticker. In looking around I didn't see any of that particular color on the internet, though I am sure some exist. It is in really nice condition too. Had it not been for those factors I wouldn't have pulled the trigger. Oh yeah, and it's Cobb, who is always good to collect .

To paraphrase Robin Williams,

Baseball cards - God's way of telling you that you make too much money.

Default pick up

Leon,

sometimes you have to just pull the trigger the way you did.....how often will you see another??

When it arrives , that will solidify your decision.....your a true type collector, and a piece like that belongs in your collection....kudos on a beauty in almost unseen condition.....

It's Cobb, it's pre-WWI, you wanted it, he got his price. Everyone's happy!

I don't think there's a person in here who hasn't bought something they didn't need. If that was your boondoggle, It's a beautiful one.
