Andrew,
In 2009 I wrote a book about the Philadelphia Caramel company and the cards they issued. The red back boxing cards are actually E80's. MANY THANKS for the scan as it now solidifies my theory that the E80/E96 were "printed and issued around the same time." (p.51) There was a previous post some time ago about the similarities the E80/E96 cards share. Read 7th and 8th post from attahced link: http://net54baseball.com/showthread....elphia+caramel ErikV Last edited by ErikV; 08-23-2012 at 01:43 PM. |

Chris,
There was one print run of 125 books. I have 16 copies left. If your interested you can PayPal $15.50 (12.99 + 2.51 shipping) to star6240@att.net. Thanks, ErikV |

Holy Sh**. That's a huge find in my opinion.
Erik: Printed/issued around the same time? Yes, but on the same sheet? Wow. This helps to explain the wrong back menageries as well. Rob Last edited by caramelcard; 08-23-2012 at 05:49 PM. |

Robert,
In rereading my post from attached link, I think I used the phrase that the E80/E96 sets were "related." I too was in awe when I first saw the scan showing both backs. They're even more related than I originally thought! Good stuff, ErikV |

That is simply awesome. To see them both on the same card is fascinating. Thanks for sharing this with us.
