That's very cool of your dad to volunteer for so many years. What a gentleman. I used to live in Petaluma with my family and my wife's family is still out there. So I'm especially rooting for them. I hope your father is good luck. Best. AndyH

Initially this thread was me bragging about my dad, with a link that no longer works.
A few years ago I didn't brag about my dad when he received this award from Little League baseball : https://www.littleleague.org/world-s...ard-recipient/ Now, sadly I am posting to mourn my dad who died this past Saturday, surrounded by his family. We are having a memorial at my high school, where he announced football games for 50 (!) and basketball for 40+ (!) seasons, as a fundraiser for the local boosters club. https://www.facebook.com/eagleprideboosters You are all invited!
