Simply Put... "Your Father iS a Saint!" He devoted a Good portion of HiS Life to one of the Most worthy causes that I could think of... "Our Children!" In 28 years, he has touch many minds that were just forming, and pointed them in directions that would ultimately form this Great Nation. He has also taken on a Grand Roll of Responsibility that many would not even of approached! The Next time you see this Fine Gentleman, Please give him a BiG Hug for me! Guys like HiM, Help me to KeeP GoiN'!!!

That's very cool of your dad to volunteer for so many years. What a gentleman. I used to live in Petaluma with my family and my wife's family is still out there. So I'm especially rooting for them. I hope your father is good luck. Best. AndyH

Initially this thread was me bragging about my dad, with a link that no longer works.
A few years ago I didn't brag about my dad when he received this award from Little League baseball : https://www.littleleague.org/world-s...ard-recipient/ Now, sadly I am posting to mourn my dad who died this past Saturday, surrounded by his family. We are having a memorial at my high school, where he announced football games for 50 (!) and basketball for 40+ (!) seasons, as a fundraiser for the local boosters club. https://www.facebook.com/eagleprideboosters You are all invited!
