Very nice, Scott, never saw that version before. Those I have seen (stadium premiums) have Ted in the back row of the team photo.

Thanks guys. It was in a ghastly frame, but when unincarcerated, was luckily untrimmed and gently tucked into corner holders.

Now that is funny. Given that I bought it framed, I was very worried that it would be trimmed, and I paid accordingly

I know it sounds like I enjoy it, but I hate to do battle with people over slabbing unless it involves crooks. Obviously, I think it was a bad move for the hobby, but I feel the same way about card slabs even though, as you pointed out, photos are not actually graded. There are people on both sides of such issues, like everything else.

A nice Gehrig Type 1. Approx 3x4 in size. Never seen a regular photo slabbed by SGC like this before. As an autograph collector as well, I love the content of him signing autos for kids.

Is SGC starting to slab Type Photos now? The thing I don't like about PSA is that they only encapsulate 8x10's or near it. I like photos slabbed for protection also.

Maybe this is known, but these were photos that were given to each player. They oftentimes were signed by each player from the team. I have some earlier ones, but this version is VERY rare and truly a great piece. Most of these were framed in just a cheap wood frame. Thanks for posting
