Curious as to what kens response was regarding the ball. To me it looks correct in one of his styles from that period.

So the story behind the ball is that it is an official Bobby Brown baseball. They wanted Manny to sign a case of ROMLBs, but he accidentally signed a case of Brown balls. Here is Ken's response (I hope he doesnt mind me posting it).

The only contract I can remember wih many ramirez was in 1991 for trading cards and did not include any autographs
In addition, SB was out of business when MLB bals came out, so the story is a lie

I was working out both a trade and throwing in some cash on this. When the guy posted the ball, with the story, someone commented that it's real. Manny's auto is just too "scribbly" for me to tell. I have no idea what one looks like. I am working on a set of autographed balls for my 500 HR collection, and just didnt want to take a chance of having a fake one in my 100% real collection....even if it was a good deal.

Not too far, actually:

Mays, Thome, Robinson, McGwire, Killebrew, Jackson, Schmidt, Williams, McCovey, Banks, Matthews, Scheffield, Murray.

No one is ridiculously difficult, but the remaining guys are pretty pricey.

I can get Thomas and Palmeiro for under a hundred combined. But then Ramirez, Bonds, and Aaron are going to be a bit rich. Plus, I want to add Mantle.
