I'd like to get your thoughts if this is a new brown Lenox example?

T206 Black Lenox Harry Davis Philadelphia

All scanned with the same scanner Davis is in the middle compared to two other confirmed browns. Below are three black Lenox.

From that scan at first glance it looks to be "Brown".

Based on the ending price of nearly $6K, is it safe to assume this Harry Davis card appeared to be a brown Lenox to at least 2 other bidders? In other words, that's not a typical price for a regular black Lenox back Harry Davis, is it?

Hey Chuck, I think being a 1/1 example was also a factor on the final price, its also possible a few others thought it was brown.
