Let's play the hi/lo game on the price of the set - over or under $750K?

It has to be over....the Wagner and Young must be in the 75 to 100k range each, don't they?

I just noticed the Doug Allen write-up in the beginning of the book refers to it as a "seven-figure set", so I guess that answers my question....

I'm curious about the importance of having such a book with lengthy write-ups of individual cards for a private sale of a full set. Since each card is not being sold individually is the catalog going to make any difference (say as opposed to adding two pages up front in the other catalog)? It's certainly a great reference for the issue though.

Matt, I wondered the same thing, but I think it might be more of a marketing opportunity for Legendary to send the catalog out to everyone. A lot of people will end up saving the catalog because of the unique opportunity to see the set mostly together, and whenever they pick up the catalog, there's the Legendary name front and center.
