I got mine today too, and it's really nice to see all the E107's pictured together. I'm sure there are quite a few I've never seen before.

"I got one today also. High quality photos. Only complaint is the photos getting partially lost in the binding of the catalog."

Not sure what happened with your book. My book has all the images well clear of the staples; all images are sharp and beautiful. Hats off to Legendary for doing a great job!

Let's play the hi/lo game on the price of the set - over or under $750K?

I'm curious about the importance of having such a book with lengthy write-ups of individual cards for a private sale of a full set. Since each card is not being sold individually is the catalog going to make any difference (say as opposed to adding two pages up front in the other catalog)? It's certainly a great reference for the issue though.

I hope the new owner won't break up this partial set. It is an ultra tough project putting this set together even in this "partial" stage.

Ultra tough might be an understatement, this is the second largest collection of E107's ever put together. I would say it could never be duplicated, no matter how long you took or how much money you had to spend. If in fact anyone wanted to have a near set of E107's, this is probably their only opportunity.

On another note, a poster above noted the toning on several cards. Most E107's can be attributed to 4 different groups of original cards that were original old time collections.

The catalog is wonderful! Great addition to my library. I have been wondering if any one on the board has any of the missing cards?

Thanks Doug!

I should have put the E107 book is fine, couldn't be any better quality. It was the auction book that some of the photos were getting lost in the binding. No big deal, I don't really think anything could have been done except to shrink the photos to fit on single pages but then the close-up details would be lost.

The E107 book is a great reference for the set. Hopefully if the set sells to one person, it's not kept a secret what it sold for.
