Seriously thats what I mean by "floating" the signature , you can take a close cropped inexpensive signature and float it for display. They still look great and you save some money. Both the Ruth and Wagner displays look sensational !

That's an awesome display too, I may start trying that sort of thing. It's a lot cheaper than a signed 8x10 of a lot of these guys!

Mike,
Do you mount the picture to a mat and then have the opening cut? For the back, will you print another picture and mount it to the back of the mat? Best, Mark

Yes, the photo is affixed to the mat with 3M spray adhesive, then the mat opening is cut through the photo so it gets the 45 degree angle like the mat cut so it looks right. I have the graphs inside of a cardsaver and have taped the cardsaver to the back side of the mat once I get it lined up right. Thus, no adhesive or anything is touching the graph except a standard cardsaver. That way in the future the whole thing can be easily undone with no damage to the graph. I haven't made backs yet, but I'm planning a trading card style back with narrative and stats and will adhere the whole thing together once it's complete, making a 8 x 10 "custom cut" trading card Mike |
