I am going to be spending the better part of a week in Kennebunkport later this summer. Any must-see places to visit? Any restaurants that are not to be missed?

I don't spend much time in "Northern Mass" but can ask a few of the locals for you. Let me know when and we can meet up for a beer.

Chris- check out Captain Lord Mansion, a wonderful bed and breakfast inn, even if you don't stay there. It's one of the nicest I've ever seen ( and I was last there in 1985).

Barry, I just spent a few minutes looking over their website and I must say it looks incredibly quaint and charming. We are traveling with our young children and by the looks of it we probably don't want to take them there. I will see if we can get the grandparents to watch them so we can make a day trip of it.

Chris- even if you just walk in and look around, or maybe make time for a lunch, you will enjoy. It's a really beautiful place. Let us know if you go.

If anyone heads to Bar Harbor and Acadia Natl Park be sure to go to the restaurant in Acadia, it is called Jordan Pond. Be sure to order the pop overs.
